Send your device for repairs

If you are not located in Auckland or visiting our workshop is not convenient, you can send your damaged / faulty device to us and we can inspect and repair it and then courier back to you usually within a matter of days.

Sending a damaged device to us for repair couldn’t be easier. Simply fill out our Request a Repair form, print out a packing slip and post / courier your device to us. Once we receive your device, we will generate an invoice for the inspection fee and email to you. Once payment has been made, our expert technicians will inspect your device and we will contact you with a price to repair. If you decide to go ahead with the repair, we will waive the inspection fee. At the completion of the repair or if you decide not to proceed with our quotation, we will courier your device back to you for FREE (so long as it is a standard sized item – see below).

Advanced Computers can repair most consumer electronic devices including:

Computers and laptops, amplifiers, digital cameras and camcorders, DVD and CD players, DVR’s, faxes, games consoles, home stereos, home theatre units, mobile phones, modems, MP3 players, PlayStations, projectors, printers, routers, speakers, scanners , TV’s and Xboxes.

How to package and send your device

We recommend taking your device to you local post office where CourierPost prepaid courier bags and boxes can be purchased. After packaging your device you can simply hand it over to the post office staff who will organise for the package to be sent to us. CourierPost provides insurance cover up to $1500 for all packages however additional insurance is available for items of a greater value if required.

Alternatively, you can use the courier company of your choice. Just make sure your device is carefully packaged to ensure no damage in transit.

FREE return shipping

Upon completion of repairs, Advanced Computers will courier your repaired device back to you at no additional cost so long as it is a standard sized item as defined by our preferred freight company (standard sized items include mobile phones, net books, most laptops and smaller electronic devices) and the delivery address is a non-rural address within New Zealand. Oversized items and rural addresses will incur additional freight charges.
